Paul James Register
USS Arizona
Lieutenant Commander Paul James Register was killed on the Arizona at Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941.
He was born November 5, 1899 in Bismarck, South Dakota. 
He attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. 
He was married to Mary Ethel Lohman, and had two children, Nancy and Paul Jr.
On January 20, 1944, a destroyer escort ship was named in his honor - the U.S.S. Register.
