Ned Burton Donohue
(Continued)
Murtle May Redford Donohue
(Ned's Mother)
Murtle never got over Ned's death.
She would watch out the window or run to the door every time someone knocked, because she thought Ned was coming home.
Murl Burton Donohue
(Ned's Father)
Murl spent the rest of his life blaming himself for Ned's death.
He was tormented with the fact that he agreed to sign the enlistment papers for Ned, who was only 17.
